Maresca dismisses concerns over Chelsea discipline record

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has dismissed scrutiny over the frequency of red cards received by Chelsea players during his tenure at Stamford Bridge. The Italian tactician declined to engage with the line of questioning during Friday's media engagement, appearing visibly irritated by the exchange with a journalist. Maresca indicated he did not consider the disciplinary record a legitimate concern or area of weakness in his management approach. The response came after speculation about whether the number of dismissals under his watch at Chelsea represented a systemic issue with player conduct or tactical discipline. Maresca's curt dismissal of the question suggests he remains confident in his methods and sees no need for retrospective examination of the matter.
