Marvel actor Simu Liu marries longtime partner Allison Hsu

Simu Liu, the Canadian actor who gained international recognition for starring in Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, has married Allison Hsu in a private ceremony. The couple, who have been in a relationship for approximately four years, chose to keep their nuptials away from the public eye.

Liu, who has built a significant following since his breakthrough role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, announced the marriage without providing extensive details about the ceremony or celebration. The low-key nature of the wedding reflects the couple's preference for maintaining privacy in their personal lives despite Liu's prominence in the entertainment industry.

The actor's marriage comes as he continues to navigate his career in Hollywood following the success of Shang-Chi, which premiered in 2021. Liu has since appeared in various film and television projects, maintaining his status as one of the notable Asian-Canadian actors in mainstream cinema.

The couple's decision to keep their wedding private aligns with a growing trend among celebrities who seek to maintain boundaries between their public professional lives and personal relationships.
