The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has undergone significant restructuring under party chief Mayawati, who has reorganized the party into three distinct sectors to strengthen its organizational framework.
Under the new structure, Sector-1 has been placed under the joint supervision of Ramji Gautam and Suresh Rao, who will oversee party operations across 10 states. The responsibility for Sector-2, covering nine states, has been entrusted to Rajaram and Atarsingh Yadav.
The restructuring represents Mayawati's effort to consolidate party management and enhance coordination across different regions. By distributing responsibilities among senior party functionaries, the BSP aims to strengthen its organizational presence and administrative efficiency across its operational areas.
The reorganization comes as the BSP continues to navigate India's competitive political landscape, where internal party structures play a crucial role in maintaining ground-level organizational strength and member engagement.
