Maynilad to cut water supply in Makati, Manila, Pasay this week
Residents across three major Metro Manila cities will face a seven-hour water service interruption as the utility company carries out scheduled maintenance work. The planned outage will affect consumers in Makati, Manila, and Pasay on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Maynilad Water Services Inc. will suspend water supply across portions of Makati, Manila, and Pasay from 7 p.m. on September 29 until 2 a.m. on September 30 to conduct a water audit, the utility announced in a service advisory.
The seven-hour interruption is part of the company's routine maintenance procedures to assess the integrity and efficiency of its water distribution network. The affected areas span critical residential and commercial zones across the three cities.
Consumers in the impact zones are advised to store sufficient water ahead of the scheduled shutdown. Maynilad urged customers to prepare for the service interruption to minimize disruption to their daily activities, particularly evening and early morning routines.
The company said it will work to restore normal water pressure and supply immediately after the audit is completed. Maynilad apologized for any inconvenience caused by the necessary maintenance work.
