The kumbabishekam ceremony at the renowned Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai commenced as per schedule on Thursday morning. The sacred ritual, one of the most important ceremonies in Hindu temple traditions, involves the consecration and rejuvenation of the temple's sanctum sanctorum and its architectural elements.
