Messi's Inter Miami held to draw by Cincinnati in thrilling MLS clash

Inter Miami CF's bid for victory was thwarted by FC Cincinnati in a pulsating MLS fixture that saw the teams share the spoils in a 2-2 stalemate. The match, featuring Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, remained relatively subdued in the opening 45 minutes before exploding into life after halftime with both teams trading goals. The second-half revival saw chances created at both ends as Cincinnati mounted a determined challenge against the Florida-based outfit. The draw leaves Inter Miami's title ambitions to be furthered in forthcoming matches, while Cincinnati claimed a valuable point from the road.
