MANILA — Meta will send a research team to the Philippines to evaluate the feasibility of integrating the country's national ID system into its platforms, according to Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Aguda.
Aguda disclosed the planned assessment during the House committee on appropriations' budget hearing for the DICT's 2027 fiscal allocation.
