KUALA LUMPUR — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has released an updated weather advisory for the National Day period, flagging unsettled atmospheric conditions expected to persist through the coming days.
Thunderstorms and heavy rain are forecast to affect various regions as moisture-laden winds interact with the regional weather system. The department cautioned that rainfall may be intense in some areas, potentially affecting outdoor activities and travel plans during the holiday period.
In addition to precipitation concerns, haze conditions are also anticipated across parts of the country.
