Metropolis targets Rs 2,500 crore revenue within three years

Metropolis Healthcare is setting its sights on generating more than Rs 2,500 crore in revenue over the next three years, according to company strategy announcements. The diagnostics operator aims to achieve this milestone by aggressively expanding its footprint of company-owned diagnostic centres, increasing the current base of 750 facilities to approximately 1,000 locations.

The expansion strategy focuses on optimising existing laboratory infrastructure while opening new company-operated centres across key markets. This approach allows the chain to strengthen its direct presence in high-potential regions while improving operational efficiency and margins.

Beyond organic growth, the company is evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions to accelerate revenue growth and market consolidation. Strategic deals could unlock additional value and expand the company's service offerings across India's growing diagnostics sector.

The diagnostics industry has witnessed significant expansion in recent years, driven by rising healthcare awareness and increased preventive health screening among Indian consumers. Metropolis's growth plans position it to capture a larger share of this expanding market demand while strengthening its position among India's leading diagnostic service providers.
