Michael Jordan's high-profile real estate project in North Carolina is taking shape after more than a decade in his portfolio. The NBA icon purchased the lakefront property at Lake Norman for $2.8 million in 2013, housing a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion at the time.
The original structure was razed in March 2025, clearing the way for a bespoke luxury estate designed to suit Jordan's specifications. The property sits within the gated Peninsula Club, an exclusive residential enclave in the region.
Recent aerial photographs document significant progress on the new residence, with structural frameworks and roofing systems reportedly approaching completion. The scale and design of the emerging structure suggest an upscale dwelling befitting the legendary athlete's status and preference for premium properties.
