Microtek announced its substantial investment at the Renewable Energy Expo 2026, underscoring the company's commitment to scaling its solar operations across India. The Jaipur manufacturing plant will form a cornerstone of the company's expansion strategy in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
The investment aligns with Microtek's 'Har Ghar Bijli Ghar' initiative, which aims to democratize access to reliable power solutions for households and commercial establishments. As part of this vision, the company will introduce a new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to complement its existing renewable energy portfolio.
With nearly four decades of experience in power management, Microtek operates across four key segments: power generation, distribution, conditioning, and storage. The company's product range includes home inverters, UPS systems, batteries, electrical wiring solutions, solar panels, solar inverters, and lithium-ion battery systems.
The announcement reflects broader industry trends as India accelerates its renewable energy transition and targets increased solar capacity installation. Microtek's expansion comes as the company positions itself to support government initiatives promoting solar adoption among Indian households and businesses.
