MILF leader vows continued push for Bangsamoro reforms and development

COTABATO CITY – Ahod "Al Haj Murad" Ebrahim, chair of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and former interim chief minister of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, has pledged to sustain efforts toward comprehensive reforms in the autonomous region.

Ebrahim's commitment underscores the MILF's continued focus on institutional strengthening, ethical governance, and peace consolidation among the Bangsamoro people. The declaration comes as the organization works to translate the frameworks established through the Bangsamoro transition into concrete development initiatives.

The MILF leadership, including vice chairman Mohagher Iqbal, has indicated that advancement of the Bangsamoro agenda remains a priority despite encountering obstacles in recent parliamentary proceedings. The organization continues to engage with regional stakeholders on accelerating socioeconomic progress across Muslim Mindanao.

These commitments reflect the MILF's broader vision for ensuring the Bangsamoro region achieves self-governance objectives while maintaining stability and promoting equitable development for its constituents.
