Military commander, Grab CEO among 19 Selangor state honours awardees

KLANG — Brigadier General Datuk Safwan @ Asri Ismail, commander of the 11th Brigade, headed the list of 19 recipients of Selangor state honours announced this week. The awards recognised individuals who have made significant contributions across various sectors including defence, commerce, and community service. Grab Southeast Asia chief executive officer Anthony Tan was among the notable awardees, reflecting recognition of the region's growing technology and business sector. The state honours programme, held in Klang, represents Selangor's acknowledgment of excellence and service across diverse fields.
