Mimaropa police bust illegal LPG operation in Romblon

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Law enforcement officers in the Mimaropa region have dismantled an illegal liquefied petroleum gas operation following coordinated entrapment operations on September 12. Eight suspects were taken into custody and dozens of LPG cylinders were recovered during the raids targeting unauthorized distribution and counterfeiting of Petron-branded products.
The operations, executed by municipal police units across multiple towns in Romblon province, focused on individuals allegedly engaged in unauthorized trading and distribution of LPG. Authorities seized a significant quantity of cylinders suspected to be counterfeit or illegally distributed products bearing Petron branding.
