Mindspace REIT posts 32% jump in operating income on robust leasing

Mindspace Real Estate Investment Trust reported a 31.9 per cent year-on-year increase in net operating income to ₹836 crore during Q2FY27, demonstrating resilience in India's commercial real estate sector. The growth was underpinned by sustained leasing momentum and higher rental realizations across the REIT's office properties.

Total revenue climbed 29.8 per cent during the quarter, reflecting improved occupancy rates and rental escalations. The REIT, which holds office assets in key business districts across India, has benefited from steady demand for premium workspace from multinational corporations and technology firms.

The quarter's performance indicates strong recovery in commercial leasing post-pandemic, with companies continuing to expand their office footprints and upgrade their workspace infrastructure. Mindspace REIT's portfolio comprises Grade-A office buildings strategically located in major metropolitan areas.

The results highlight investor appetite for Indian commercial real estate assets, particularly those managed by established REITs offering stable returns through rental income and capital appreciation. Mindspace REIT has positioned itself as a key player in India's evolving office market, responding to evolving workplace preferences and business requirements.
