BAYOMBONG — Eleven residents arrested during an anti-mining demonstration in Nueva Vizcaya have secured their release through bail, marking a development in the ongoing dispute over exploration activities in the region.
The group was taken into custody on August 28 by police on charges of grave coercion and resistance and disobedience to authority. All eleven posted bail on Tuesday and were released, according to local reports.
