Minister inaugurates girls' schools and local governance office

A government minister has inaugurated several Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and a Mandal Parishad office in a ceremony aimed at strengthening educational access for girls and local administrative capacity in the region.

The KGBVs, central schools under the scheme designed to promote girl-child education in rural areas, represent a continued government commitment to improving educational opportunities for marginalised communities. The facilities are expected to provide residential and day-scholar options for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

In parallel, the inauguration of the Mandal Parishad office underscores efforts to enhance local governance infrastructure. The facility will serve as the administrative headquarters for the mandal-level administrative division, facilitating improved service delivery and implementation of government programmes at the grassroots level.

The inaugurations reflect ongoing development initiatives aimed at bridging gaps in educational infrastructure and strengthening decentralised governance mechanisms across the region.
