SHAH ALAM — The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) has submitted proposals to boost allowances for disabled workers and personnel at community care facilities (PDK) in Budget 2027, according to the ministry's leadership.
The push aims to improve financial support for two vulnerable groups within Malaysia's social welfare framework. Disabled workers currently face financial constraints, while care facility staff frequently operate under demanding conditions with limited compensation.
