Minor earthquake strikes Ranau area in Sabah

The Malaysian Meteorological Department confirmed the earthquake hit the Ranau region, located in the western interior of Sabah. The 3.5 magnitude quake was recorded at Panginatan at 10:57am local time.

No reports of damage or injuries have been reported following the tremor. The earthquake was classified as minor and fell within the range of tremors that residents in the region occasionally experience.
