INITAO, Misamis Oriental — The community of Initao marked another year of remembrance for a local law enforcement hero through a voluntary blood donation initiative held at Initao College on Friday, October 9.

The 7th PSMS Jason Magno Memorial Voluntary Blood Donation Drive serves as an annual tribute to Senior Master Sergeant Jason Magno, who made the ultimate sacrifice while performing his duties on November 27, 2019.

The commemorative event, held at the college campus, aimed to channel community spirit into a cause that saves lives. Blood donation drives such as this serve dual purposes: honoring fallen heroes while addressing critical shortages in the nation's blood supply.

The annual observance demonstrates how local institutions continue to recognize the contributions of those who have served in law enforcement and given their lives for public safety. Through such initiatives, communities ensure that the legacy of fallen officers remains alive in the collective memory and action of residents.

The drive reflects the broader commitment of Initao and surrounding areas to support healthcare needs while maintaining a permanent tribute to Magno's memory and service.
