Miss Universe India to play Sita in Delhi's grand Ramleela production

Delhi will play host to an expanded version of the celebrated Ramleela of Ayodhya from October 10-20, marking a significant expansion of the traditionally revered theatrical production. The historic staging will see Kiya Liz Mejo, crowned Miss Universe India 2026, take on the principal role of goddess Sita, while Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan will portray Lord Ram.

The decision to feature Mejo, a prominent pageant titleholder, and Kishan, a seasoned actor and parliamentarian, underscores the production's ambitions to blend traditional sacred theatre with contemporary star appeal.
