Missed Diwali Lakshmi Puja? Here's Your Final Window

Many devotees across India may have missed performing Lakshmi Puja during the main auspicious moments on Diwali. However, according to the Hindu calendar, there remains a final opportunity for worship on the festival day itself.

As per traditional Panchang calculations, the Amrit Choghadiya—considered an auspicious and propitious time—extends from 5:31 PM to 10:27 PM on Diwali evening. This window is regarded as an acceptable alternative period for conducting Lakshmi Puja rituals.

Religious scholars affirm that performing the worship during this Amrit Choghadiya is considered highly meritorious and yields favorable results. Devotees who were unable to participate in earlier ceremonies are encouraged to complete their prayers and offerings during this extended timeframe.

The practice of Lakshmi Puja, central to Diwali celebrations across Hindu communities, involves prayers for prosperity, well-being, and spiritual advancement. Performing the ritual during designated auspicious periods is believed to enhance its spiritual efficacy, though many Hindu traditions emphasize that devotion and sincere intentions hold equal importance regardless of timing.
