The male Islamic religious teacher was found in good health in Kedah on Monday, ending a week-long search that had concerned his family and colleagues in George Town. Police confirmed that the man, who teaches Kafa at an Islamic educational institution in Penang, had left without informing anyone of his whereabouts.

The discovery came after a missing person report was filed by the teacher's family, who grew alarmed at his sudden disappearance. The timing of his absence proved particularly worrying given his upcoming marriage scheduled for September, which had prompted heightened concern among relatives and friends.

Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding his disappearance or the reasons for his travel to Kedah. The teacher was reportedly in stable condition when located, with no signs of foul play or distress.

The case highlighted the importance of individuals informing family members of their movements, particularly when their absence might cause alarm. Penang police said investigations into the matter have concluded following the man's safe recovery.
