MMEA gives all-clear to Karakit-Kudat ferry after safety review

KUDAT — The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Kudat Zone has cleared a ferry operating between Karakit and Kudat to resume full operations following a comprehensive safety inspection.

The inspection was prompted after concerns regarding passenger safety on the service gained traction on social media, prompting authorities to conduct a thorough review of the vessel's operational standards and safety protocols.
