Model Arrested in Lucknow Businessman Death Case; Evaded Police for Weeks

A model identified as Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi, and driver Tanveer have been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Lucknow police in Nagpur in connection with the death of Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma. The three were on the run, continuously moving locations to evade law enforcement, demonstrating what investigators described as deliberate evasion tactics. A 50,000-rupee bounty had been announced for information leading to their arrest.

The case centers on conflicting accounts surrounding Sharma's death. The deceased man's mother filed a complaint alleging foul play and murder, while Dubey has maintained that Sharma's death was a suicide. The disagreement over the circumstances has been central to the investigation.

Investigators expressed concern over the trio's apparent coordination in evading arrest, noting their ability to maintain mobility across state borders and change hiding locations repeatedly. The arrests mark a significant development in the case, with authorities now in possession of all three primary suspects for questioning and further investigation into the exact circumstances of Sharma's death.
