Modi, Putin hold bilateral talks amid BRICS summit in New Delhi

Energy cooperation remains a key focus area for the two leaders. India and Russia are expected to hold negotiations regarding New Delhi's plans to establish new civil nuclear reactors, building on their existing robust energy relationship. The talks also encompass opportunities in critical minerals and other sectors deemed vital for both nations' long-term growth.
The meeting marks the latest engagement between the Indian Prime Minister and the Russian President, following their recent interaction on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Bishkek.
