Modi reviews six major infrastructure projects worth 30,000 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened the 53rd meeting of PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation), a digital platform designed to accelerate decision-making on key developmental projects and address public grievances. During the session, Modi conducted a comprehensive review of six major infrastructure initiatives valued at approximately 30,000 crore rupees.

The projects under consideration spanned critical sectors including railways, road connectivity and energy infrastructure, reflecting the government's continued focus on strengthening the nation's backbone infrastructure. Officials briefed the Prime Minister on progress, bottlenecks and implementation timelines for each initiative.

Beyond infrastructure matters, the meeting also addressed emerging concerns related to cyber fraud cases, underscoring the administration's commitment to tackling digital security threats. The PRAGATI platform, introduced in 2015, has emerged as a key instrument for monitoring project implementation and ensuring timely resolution of administrative issues.
