Modi to inaugurate ₹14,000 crore worth projects in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to commence a two-day visit to Gujarat on October 30, official sources confirmed. The visit will see the inauguration of various infrastructure and development projects valued at approximately ₹14,000 crore across the state.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will travel to Ekta Nagar, the site of the world's tallest statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. At the location, Modi will formally launch Bharat Parv 2026, a cultural and tourism festival aimed at promoting India's heritage and attracting visitors.

The Prime Minister's itinerary will also include participation in the Narmada aarti, a ceremonial ritual on the banks of the Narmada River. The event forms part of the broader cultural programme being organised during the visit.

The visit underscores the government's focus on Gujarat, with multiple development initiatives coming to fruition. Officials indicated that the projects span various sectors, reflecting the state's continued progress in infrastructure development and economic growth.

Modi's Gujarat visits have historically been significant, given his long association with the state as its former chief minister. This visit is expected to draw considerable attention from both state and national political circles.
