Monsoon Exits with Final Wet Spell Across Much of India

Weather officials advise residents and authorities in vulnerable regions to remain vigilant and take precautionary measures to mitigate potential damage and ensure public safety during this final monsoon phase.

The monsoon typically begins its withdrawal from northwestern India in September, gradually moving southeastward over subsequent weeks. This year's departing system follows the typical pattern while bringing with it the seasonal moisture characteristic of the tail end of the monsoon season.
