Morocco to host 2030 World Cup final in Casablanca
Morocco's football federation chief has confirmed that Casablanca will be the venue for the 2030 FIFA World Cup final, underlining the North African nation's prominent role in hosting the prestigious tournament.

The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced Thursday that Casablanca will serve as the host city for the 2030 World Cup final, according to reports from Spanish news agency EFE.
The decision places Morocco's largest city and primary economic hub at the centre of one of international football's most significant events. Casablanca, home to the Hassan II Mosque and a modern sporting infrastructure, is set to stage the tournament's climactic match.
Morocco was selected as a co-host for the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Portugal and Spain, making it the first African nation to co-host the tournament in the modern era. The North African country has invested substantially in upgrading its stadiums and facilities to meet international standards ahead of the competition.
The 2030 World Cup will be the second time Morocco has hosted matches in a FIFA World Cup tournament, following its participation as a group-stage host in 1930, though that edition was held primarily in Uruguay.
