Mourinho warns Real Madrid stars: no one is untouchable

Jose Mourinho has made clear that Real Madrid's elite roster will face accountability regardless of individual reputation, as he seeks to elevate the team's performance ahead of a crucial Champions League encounter.

Addressing the media, Mourinho stressed that no player holds a guaranteed place in the squad, signalling his intent to maintain competitive standards across the team. His comments reflect a willingness to make tactical changes when necessary to achieve desired results.

The manager assessed that Real Madrid's current level remains "a long way off" from where he believes the team should be operating. This gap between present performance and his ambitions will likely shape team selection and tactical decisions in the coming matches.

Mourinho's stance underscores his management philosophy of maintaining discipline and meritocracy within the squad, regardless of player status or past achievements. The message appears designed to ensure all players remain focused on meeting the high standards expected at the Spanish club.
