MP Ritual Sets World Record with 1.5kg Gold, 5kg Silver Offerings

A major Vedic ceremony conducted at the Dada Dhuni Darbar spiritual centre in Udayapura, Raisen district, has claimed a world record for its scale and material offerings. The elaborate ritual, known locally as a mahayajna or grand sacrifice, was completed with the offering of 1.5 kilograms of gold and 5 kilograms of silver into the sacred fire, according to event organisers.

The ceremony utilised approximately 1.51 lakh kilograms of materials in total, spanning multiple days of rituals and observances. Saint Shivanananda Maharaj, who presided over the event, was credited with orchestrating the record-setting observance, which drew participation from devotees and spiritual seekers across the region.

The Dada Dhuni Darbar, a spiritual establishment in the Udayapura area, is known for hosting large-scale religious ceremonies rooted in Hindu Vedic traditions.
