MSF 'Campus Express' drive concludes amid CEC resignation demands

The Mazdoor Sangharsh Front (MSF) will conclude its 'Campus Express' campaign on October 9, marking the end of a mobilisation drive that has drawn significant attention across the region. The campaign, which has focused on campus-based activism and worker engagement, has gathered momentum through coordinated efforts by MSF district committees.

During the campaign, MSF district committee members staged a notable protest in which participants wore black armbands as a symbol of dissent. The demonstration was organised to mount pressure on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, with activists demanding his immediate resignation from office.

The decision to conclude the campaign on October 9 comes as the MSF seeks to consolidate gains from the mobilisation and redirect focus towards ongoing advocacy efforts. District-level committee members have played a central role in organising grassroots participation and sustaining momentum throughout the Campus Express initiative.

The campaign reflects broader concerns within labour and activist circles regarding electoral administration and governance. By combining campus outreach with high-visibility protests, the MSF has sought to amplify its message to both younger constituencies and the wider public.
