Mudryk will spend the remainder of the season at Spurs as he seeks to revitalise his career after serving his suspension. The 23-year-old will work under De Zerbi, whose appointment as Tottenham manager came as part of the club's push to strengthen their squad this season.
The loan deal represents a fresh opportunity for Mudryk to re-establish himself in top-flight football. De Zerbi's familiarity with the Ukrainian international from their time together at Shakhtar could prove beneficial as Mudryk looks to make an immediate impact at White Hart Lane.
Mudryk's move comes as Tottenham continues its campaign to compete in the Premier League title race and European competitions. The club has made several strategic additions to its roster in recent windows, with De Zerbi tasked with galvanising the squad's performance.
