Violent incidents swept through northern India on a single day, with law enforcement agencies investigating multiple cases of shootings and homicides across Delhi, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. The spate of violence has raised security concerns in the region. In Delhi's Ranhola area, an incident of open firing was reported, while Punjab's Mansa district witnessed a separate shooting. Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh also experienced a violent confrontation involving firearms. The most severe incident occurred in Pilibhit, where a dispute that erupted at a local Ramleela fair—a traditional theatrical festival—escalated into bloodshed, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. Authorities have launched investigations into all four cases to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible for the violence. The incidents underscore ongoing concerns about law and order in the densely populated states, with police teams mobilizing to contain the situation and prevent further escalation.
