Faijan Ansari, a social media influencer from Mumbai, has moved to assume financial responsibility for the daughter of a woman currently on death row. The offer of support comes as the child faces an uncertain future following the capital conviction of her mother.
Ansari travelled to Meerut and met with the district government advocate K.K. Choubey to formally communicate his intention to provide comprehensive care for the girl. He has indicated willingness to cover all major expenses related to the child's welfare, including education, healthcare, clothing and marriage arrangements.
To formalise this commitment, Ansari has filed an application in the district court seeking judicial approval for his guardianship proposal. The action reflects growing public interest in ensuring vulnerable children do not suffer consequences of their parents' legal circumstances. The district judge's court is expected to review the application in due course.
