The Union of European Football Associations confirmed the hosting assignments on Tuesday, spreading football's showpiece events across two of Europe's most prestigious stadiums over consecutive years.
Munich's Allianz Arena, home to Bayern Munich, will stage the 2028 final, while Barcelona's iconic Camp Nou will host the 2029 edition. Both venues have extensive experience hosting major European fixtures and possess the infrastructure required for the competition's largest matches.
The awards reflect UEFA's confidence in the facilities and organisational capabilities of both German and Spanish clubs. The Allianz Arena has hosted major European matches and tournaments, while Camp Nou remains one of the world's largest football stadiums by capacity.
The announcement provides host cities with several years to prepare for the influx of visiting supporters and the operational demands of staging the continent's premier club football event. Previous Champions League finals have drawn upwards of 60,000 spectators and attracted global television audiences in the hundreds of millions.
