Myanmar Military Escalates Aerial Operations on Key Supply Corridor

Military aircraft have conducted repeated bombing runs along transportation lines serving as critical supply arteries between Kachin and Sagaing divisions, sources in the regions reported. The intensified aerial campaign targets routes used to transport goods and materials essential for civilian populations and armed opposition groups operating in conflict-affected areas.

The airstrikes represent an expansion of the military's strategy to disrupt logistics networks supporting anti-junta forces. Since the February 2021 coup, the Myanmar armed forces have increasingly deployed air power against opposition strongholds and supply lines in northern regions where resistance to military rule remains strongest.

Local sources indicated that civilian infrastructure along the corridor has sustained damage from the bombing operations.
