Mysuru's prestigious Torchlight Parade is set to captivate audiences with a combination of precision motorcycle stunts and traditional horse riding displays this year. The parade will feature 18 platoons of cadets, each comprising 28 personnel, alongside two dedicated horse platoons that will perform equestrian exhibitions.
The motorcyclists will execute coordinated stunts while the cavalry units demonstrate classical horsemanship techniques, creating a dynamic visual spectacle that blends modern and traditional displays of military pageantry. The participation of over 500 cadets reflects the scale and ambition of the annual event, which draws spectators from across Karnataka and neighbouring regions.
The Mysuru Torchlight Parade remains one of South India's prominent ceremonial events, held annually to commemorate significant occasions. The event has traditionally combined martial precision with entertainment value, making it a popular attraction for families and enthusiasts of military displays.
Organizers have structured the parade to maximize viewer engagement through the varied performances, with the motorcycle elements adding contemporary appeal to the traditional cadet drills and cavalry demonstrations expected throughout the evening.
