Mysuru Zoo Begins Major Sanitation Upgrade With CSR-Funded Project

Construction has begun on a significant sanitation and facilities upgrade at Mysuru Zoo, funded through a ₹73 lakh corporate social responsibility (CSR) project. The initiative aims to enhance toilet and hygiene infrastructure at the zoo, a major tourist destination in Karnataka that attracts thousands of visitors annually.

The project also encompasses improvements at Karanji Lake, located adjacent to the zoo premises. These complementary developments are designed to improve the visitor experience while supporting environmental management at both sites.
