Nagoya organisers apologise for transport confusion affecting Pakistan, South Korea teams

Event organisers in Nagoya have apologised for transportation difficulties that disrupted travel arrangements for Pakistan's volleyball team and their South Korean counterparts during a recent competition.

Pakistan's volleyball delegation was initially directed towards Inuyama, a city located away from their intended destination of Okazaki, where the match was scheduled to take place. The routing error was identified and corrected, allowing the team to proceed to the correct venue, though not before causing significant delays.

The logistical confusion resulted in the volleyball match commencing later than originally scheduled. Event officials acknowledged the organisational shortcomings and expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to both teams and the competition schedule.

The incident highlights the challenges event planners face in coordinating large-scale international sports competitions, particularly when managing multiple team arrivals and venue logistics across different municipalities in the Nagoya region.
