Nagpur-Warangal-Vijayawada highway to open by end-2027

The ambitious 310-kilometre highway linking Nagpur, Warangal, and Vijayawada is expected to be operational by December 2027, according to Telangana's Roads and Buildings Minister. The project, which will improve regional connectivity and facilitate trade across Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, has cleared significant administrative hurdles in recent months.

Land acquisition, a persistent challenge for large infrastructure projects in the region, has been substantially resolved, the minister said.
