Naidu warns party rebels ahead of local body elections in Andhra Pradesh

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has underscored the need for strict adherence to alliance commitments as Andhra Pradesh prepares for local body elections, warning party members that violations could invite suspension.

Addressing party functionaries and District in-charge Ministers, Naidu emphasized that the ruling coalition's strength lies in maintaining unity and discipline across all organizational levels. He cautioned that any deviation from alliance dharma would attract action against dissidents within the party structure.

The Chief Minister tasked District in-charge Ministers with the responsibility of resolving cadre disputes at the earliest, without allowing grievances to fester or escalate. This directive aims to present a unified front during the local body election campaign and prevent factional conflicts from undermining the coalition's electoral prospects.

Naidu's statement comes as the Telugu Desam Party, which leads the NDA alliance in the state, prepares for intensified electioneering at the grassroots level. The Chief Minister's warning signals the leadership's intent to maintain tight organizational discipline during the crucial electoral phase.
