The Italian Football League's sports judge handed down the suspension on Monday in response to Allegri's actions during the home fixture at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The ban follows a series of incidents during the entertaining but contentious encounter in which both teams finished with 10 men.
According to the ruling, Allegri directed abusive language at match officials and displayed aggressive conduct towards a Roma staff member. His dismissal from the technical area marked the culmination of escalating tensions during the fixture, which saw both teams struggle to maintain discipline in the latter stages.
The suspension means the 56-year-old coach will miss Napoli's next two Serie A fixtures. The club has not yet confirmed whether it will lodge an appeal against the decision. Allegri, who returned to manage Napoli earlier this season, will be forced to watch from the stands as his team continues their domestic campaign.
