SAN ILDEFONSO, ILOCOS SUR — Narvacan town officials, government employees, and representatives from the Department of Tourism participated in a bagnet boodle fight on Sunday as part of the municipality's Bagnet Festival celebrations. The communal dining event brought together local and national stakeholders to showcase the town's flagship product.
The boodle fight—a traditional Filipino style of communal eating where diners share food spread across a table—featured bagnet, the region's prized cured and fried pork delicacy, alongside complementary dishes. Accompanying items included chicharon, paksiw na okra, fresh tomatoes, and bagoong, creating a spread that exemplified Ilocano culinary traditions.
