NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, set to launch in the coming years, will tackle some of astronomy's most pressing questions by observing phenomena across billions of light-years. The observatory will investigate dark energy, the mysterious force accelerating the universe's expansion, and map its distribution across cosmic time.

The telescope's advanced instrumentation will enable astronomers to detect and characterize exoplanets in unprecedented detail, searching for worlds that might harbour conditions suitable for life. By measuring the light from distant stars, Roman will identify planetary systems and provide insights into their composition and atmospheres.
