LUCENA CITY — Tourism activities in Nasugbu, one of Batangas province's premier destinations, have resumed operations after authorities suspended outdoor recreation due to unfavorable weather conditions. The Municipal Tourism Office (MTO) announced the lifting of the suspension on Tuesday through an official statement, declaring that outdoor activities could proceed as normal.
The town had halted all outdoor tourism and recreational operations for two days as a precautionary measure against adverse weather. The suspension affected various activities and establishments catering to both domestic and international visitors to the popular coastal municipality.
The tourism office did not provide specific details about the weather event that triggered the closure. However, the decision to resume operations indicates that atmospheric and sea conditions have returned to acceptable safety levels for visitors and tourism staff.
The MTO reminded tourism establishments to continue monitoring local weather forecasts and to maintain standard safety protocols for their operations.
