Navi Mumbai International Airport has commissioned a new catering facility to support increasing flight operations at the facility, which is among India's newest major aviation hubs. The TajSATS flight kitchen has been integrated into the airport's ground support infrastructure to provide meal services across multiple carriers.

The facility currently handles catering requirements for over 40 daily flights with an operational capacity of 7,500 meals per day. According to airport specifications, the kitchen can be scaled to produce up to 15,000 meals daily, providing headroom for future expansion as flight volumes increase.

The addition of the flight kitchen addresses growing logistical requirements at Navi Mumbai International Airport, which has seen sustained traffic growth since commencing operations. The facility strengthens the airport's ability to attract new airline partnerships and accommodate additional flight frequencies on existing routes.

TajSATS, a joint venture between Air India's catering arm and international partner Sats Ltd., operates multiple flight kitchens across Indian airports. The Navi Mumbai facility adds to the company's presence in the western region and supports the airport's operational efficiency targets.
