Nayeem's maiden fifty guides Bangladesh to 170-run target against West Indies

Bangladesh has posted a competitive total against West Indies, with batsman Nayeem reaching his maiden fifty to help his team establish a 170-run victory target.

Nayeem's innings proved crucial in the middle order, providing the stability required to build Bangladesh's total. His fifty-run milestone represents a significant contribution in the context of the match, demonstrating improved batting performance for the regional player.

The target of 170 runs gives West Indies a clear objective for the chase, though the figure remains competitive and achievable depending on conditions and West Indies' batting performance. Bangladesh will now rely on its bowling attack to restrict the opposition and defend the total.

The contest remains evenly poised as West Indies prepares to bat, with the outcome dependent on how effectively they can navigate Bangladesh's bowling attack and build partnerships during their innings.
