The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) executed coordinated raids on two illegal synthetic drug production facilities operating in the Greater Noida region, uncovering a sophisticated manufacturing and distribution network. The enforcement action resulted in the seizure of 379.74 kilograms of amphetamine-containing substances along with precursor chemicals and equipment used in the production process.

According to NCB officials, the seized materials and infrastructure represent a significant disruption to drug trafficking operations in the National Capital Region. The contraband recovered from the facilities has been valued at up to Rs 50 crore in the illicit market. Investigation teams documented the manufacturing capabilities at both locations, identifying advanced processing equipment and chemical stocks indicative of large-scale production operations.

The operation underscores intensified enforcement efforts by India's premier anti-narcotics agency against synthetic drug manufacturing. Greater Noida has emerged as a key hub for clandestine drug production, prompting heightened vigilance by law enforcement authorities. The NCB has intensified surveillance and intelligence gathering across the region to identify and neutralize additional illegal drug laboratories.

Preliminary investigations suggest the seized materials were destined for distribution across multiple states. Further probe is underway to establish the complete supply chain and identify individuals and organizations involved in the manufacturing and trafficking network. The arrests have been registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
